Diego Blanchet Herrera

Diego Blanchet Herrera (Matanzas, Kuba, 2007) is an emerging Cuban photographer Und self-taught visual artist. A graduate of the Carlos Marx Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences, he belongs to a new generation of creators shaping the future of contemporary Cuban photography. In 2024, he received an award at the Fotocanímar Online Festival, highlighting his early artistic promise and distinctive visual language. His work is currently exhibited at El Potrero in Matanzas, Kuba, where he explores themes of daily life, youth, and identity through a documentary and introspective lens.
