Jacqueline Brito Jorge, a visual artist born in Havana in January 1973, received her academic training at prestigious Cuban institutions. She studied at the Elementary School of Visual Arts in Havana from 1984 bis zur 1987, and later at the San Alejandro Provincial School of Visual Arts (1987–1991). She completed her education at the Instituto Superior de Arte (Künste der Universität) aus 1991 bis zur 1996, Spezialisiert auf Malerei. In 2025, she is taking part inKubanische Frauenkunst (Cuban Art Space, New York) und inIr, Venir, Volver, a collateral event of the 15th Havana Biennial. In 2024, her work is included in commemorative exhibitions at the Hotel Inglaterra, the Casa del Alba Cultural, Die 23 y C Gallery, and the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Center in Bogotá.
