Katharsis / Catarsis

Monks represent the religious on earth for the Eastern hemisphere, as well as the union between the divine and the earthly. Symbol of spirituality and purification through meditation. Starting from this concept, I use the canvas and the chemical properties of oil to create the purging scenario.
