Burrow (My Home Is Your Home) / Madriguera Mi casa es tu casa
Kaufanfrage
Madriguera (Mi casa es tu casa)" functions as an open invitation to absolute relational empathy, operating under a radical premise: a dissolution of ownership between the creator, das Kunstwerk, and the beholder. By flattening the distance between the self and the other, the work establishes a space where the artist's proposal, ideology, and reality seamlessly mirror and become those of the viewer.
Structurally, this intervention introduces a series of micro-architectures—four minimal, pristine burrows that evoke safe havens, hiding places, or domestic frontiers. Spatially welcoming the viewer across four major world languages (chinesisch, Englisch, Persian, and Russian), the work directly addresses the geopolitics of hospitality, integration, and belonging. It transforms the physical gallery space into a psychological territory where perception is entirely shared, challenging how we construct notions of "home" and refuge within global, systemic frameworks.
