PRISMA 4 – Kuratieren im virtuellen Raum

Hinter vielen Ausstellungen bildender Kunst steht die Figur des Kurators, verantwortlich für das Spinnen von Themen und Reden, als Interpret zwischen dem Empfänger und einem bestimmten ästhetischen Vorschlag zu fungieren.

Die Biennale von Havanna war, im Laufe seiner Geschichte, eine überaus kuratorische Veranstaltung, Der Schwerpunkt lag auf der Reflexion der Probleme der Dritten Welt anhand der in diesen Regionen produzierten Kunst. Zeitgleich mit der 14. Auflage davon, ArteMorfosis schlägt vor, die kuratorische Praxis als kreative Übung zu fördern, generator of meanings and knowledge that provide new readings about Cuban art and its context.

Aber, what are the new potentialities and challenges for virtual curation and museography in the era of the metaverse? The use of digital resources in order to create a different experience between user, arbeiten, artist and space also offers the possibility of imagining dissimilar versions of the same exhibition. The same theme or motivation, different staging, new approaches with which to experiment and understand art.

This call is aimed at Cuban curators, over 18 years of age and based in Cuba, who may participate individually or as a group.
