On the occasion of its first anniversary, ArteMorfosis Gallery presents one of the best established artists of Cuba, Alicia Leal (*1957). A member of the young generation of the 1980s, her works oscillate between dream and reality. With the free and easy, typically Caribbean color intensity, her narrative, surreal paintings find support, unter anderem, in Cuban folk art. The themes are fables, Visionen, mysterious myths and life.
