Adversy Alonso (Matanzas, Cuba, 1966) es unCuban photographer whose work spans several decades of exploration indocumentary and artistic photography. His practice engages with the cultural and social transformations of Cuban life, establishing him as a consistent and reflective presence withinartes visuales cubanas contemporáneas.

He has participated in numerouscollective and solo exhibitions since the late 1980s. Among his main exhibitions are: elFirst and Second Julio Fucik Photography Salon (Matanzas, 1987 y 1988); el10th Varadero Visual Arts Salon(1988); unCollective Exhibition at the Julio Fucik Photography Club (Matanzas, 1989); y elHavana City Salon dedicated to Photography (1992). He also took part in theFirst Roberto Diago Querol Visual Arts Salon (Matanzas Gallery, 1993); elValderrama Group Collective Exhibition (1993); elSecond Provincial Roberto Diago Querol Salon(1993); y elTribute to Wifredo Lam Exhibition (Biblioteca Nacional, la Habana, 1993).

Susolo exhibition Black-Out (Centro Provincial de Artes Visuales, Matanzas, 2017) marked a return to the public eye with a powerful reflection on light, absence, and visual memory. Other important participations includeTe debo una luz que vuela (Galería Esteban Chartrand, UNEAC, Matanzas, 2018) yRíos Intermitentes, a project by Cuban-American artistMaría Magdalena Campos-Pons presented during theHavana Biennial in Matanzas (2019).
