Acerca del artista

He is a multidisciplinary visual artist residing and working in Havana. His artistic practice encompasses painting, dibujo, grabado, y escultura, utilizing a wide range of materials, including acrylic, aceite, lienzo, papel, pressed cardboard, fragmented wood, sand, and ink.
His training as an Art Instructor specializing in Theater (EIA) at Nicolás Guillén Batista in Camagüey, Cuba, has profoundly influenced his artistic vision.
Entre 2015 y 2020, Abad worked on the sociocultural project and ceramic studio "La Viña" en la Habana, Cuba, where he specialized in the majolica technique, an experience that has left a significant impact on his current work.
En 2025, he completed a mentorship program to improve artistic techniques and curatorship, co-led by Arturo Montoto, a professor and consultant at the University of the Arts of Cuba (ES UN), and art critic, curador, and editor David Mateo.
