Néster Núñez (Matanzas, Cuba, 1975) es un Cuban photographer, writer, and psychologist whose career bridges literature, artes visuales, and communication. He has worked as a television journalist, radio scriptwriter, y editor for Ediciones Matanzas y Ediciones Aldabón (AHS Matanzas). Author of five books for both children and adults, Núñez completed the Narrative Techniques Workshop en el Onelio Jorge Cardoso Literary Training Center, el International Screenwriting Workshop a EICTV, y el Community Lens Audiovisual Workshop en el Christian Center for Reflection and Dialogue. He has also undertaken several postgraduate studies in Social Communication en el Universidad de la Habana. Su literary and audiovisual works have received national awards, and he holds the National Registry of Audiovisual Creators. Over the past five years, he has devoted himself professionally to fotografía, developing a body of work that combines journalistic precision with a poetic and reflective visual language. Desde 2022, he has been a regular contributor to La Joven Cuba, where he publishes chronicles and photo essays addressing contemporary Cuban life and identity. He has also produced documentary shorts for Periodismo de Barrio, further consolidating his presence in the field of Cuban contemporary photography y visual storytelling.
