Ramón Pacheco Salazar (Villa Clara, Cuba, 1954) es un Cuban photographer, photojournalist, and visual artist, member of the Unión Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (UNEAC) y el Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC). Desde 1979, he has worked as a photojournalist for the newspaper Girón, where he also served as Head of Photography for the cultural supplement Yumurí entre 1981 y 1983. En 1984, he participated as a war correspondent in Angola, an experience that deeply shaped his artistic vision and documentary perspective. En 2002, he published his book Ambos Mundos: Photographic Tales of Cuba, edited by the Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst in Aachen, Alemania. A lo largo de los años, his work has earned multiple distinctions, including an Honorable Mention and Bronze Medal desde Photographic Federation of America en el National Human Body Photography Salonen 1996.
