Raúl Navarro González
Raúl Navarro González (Matanzas, Cuba, 1991) es unCuban photographer and photojournalist whose work combines documentary precision with a strong visual narrative. He has participated in severalphotography salons and competitions, incluyendo elFotocanímar Festival (2024) y elKairós Center Christian Art Salon.
Navarro González has received multiplepremios y reconocimientos for his photographic work, among them theCelestino García Franco First Prize for Photojournalism (2022), elNelson Barrera First Prize for Photojournalism (2022), elIbero-American Fotonaratón Photography Contest Winner (2022), y unMención de honor en elInternational Photography Competition of the World Meteorological Organization.
His work was featured on thecover of the Matanzas Tourist Guide, and he currently works as aphotojournalist for the newspaperGirón in Matanzas, Cuba. His images capture the essence of Cuban daily life, blending artistry and social insight within the framework offotografía cubana contemporánea.
