The piece is an appropriation of the cover of the contemporary art catalog Art Now. We play with both its visual structure and its legitimizing nature. By manipulating the text to introduce a new supposed trend — Art Wow — we create a promotional poster for this imagined movement. Through this gesture, we highlight and question a kind of art that celebrates visual impact as content itself.
