Claudia Veloz Delgado
Claudia Veloz Delgado (Havanna, 1986) is a Cuban visual artist who lives and works in the capital, where she develops a body of work connected to contemporary processes in the visual arts. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at the University of the Arts, a course of study she complements with previous studies in Humanities at the Padre Félix Varela Institute (2019–2022), as well as mural painting at the Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos Workshop School (2010–2012) and at the José Antonio Díaz Peláez Experimental Center for the Visual Arts (2009–2010). Her educational background also includes technical training in Industrial Psychology, completed in Santo Domingo between 2004 Und 2006.
Her exhibition career includes solo shows such asConstructed Realities (National Museum of Decorative Arts, 2023), Intimate Circles (Havanna kreative Räume, 2022), UndReflections in the Room (Provinzzentrum für bildende Kunst und Design, 2017). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in Cuba and abroad, einschließlichResidual Chronicles (ArtLab, Mérida, Mexiko, 2026), collateral projects of the 15th Havana Biennial, and exhibitions in venues such as Factoría Diseño, Galería Galeano, and the Faculty of Visual Arts. Her work demonstrates a sustained presence in the contemporary art circuit and an expanding projection at both the national and international levels.
