Karla González Horta (Matanzas, Kuba, 2000) ist aCuban visual artist and contemporary photographer whose work explores the boundaries between identity, body, and perception through a conceptual and experimental approach to the image. Her practice is rooted incontemporary Cuban photography, combining aesthetic inquiry with reflections on gender and social narratives.

Her work has been featured in numerousgroup and solo exhibitions, earning recognition such as theLa Temporal Creation Grant von derZentrum für die Entwicklung der bildenden Künste, DieAward from the Visual Arts Section of UNEAC, und einLobende Erwähnung amFotocanímar Online Festival 2024. She has participated in significant exhibitions such asAlienaciones del Límite, organized by theMujer Sociedad Project as part of the15Biennale von Havanna, and was an invited artist at theLeopoldo Romañach Landschaftssalon 2024.

González Horta has also taken part inLas Invisibles, eincollective exhibition held within the framework of the15th Havana Biennial in Matanzas, presented by theTetas Libres Project as part ofCuerpos Integrados; Die28th Roberto Diago Provincial Salon (2025); UndFemme Fatale, eincollective exhibition organized by theMujer Sociedad Project beiHavanna kreative Räume (Office of the City Historian, 2025). She is an activemember of the Tetas Libres Project, a collective focused on the visibility of women in contemporary Cuban art.
