This work arises from the need to act through my art to address the situation of women in Cuba. It speaks about the reality of women and the constant obstacles imposed on them by social and cultural conceptions. I raise this from the very fact that what is made by women is named as "female". My distant and non-conformist relationship with language determined the consideration of the NO ending of the word as a conditioning factor that supports this phenomenon. In addition, the meaning that the word "female" itself possesses in terms of the interpretation that has been given to it throughout history.
