    Artwork Statement

The work consists of a small almanac with a cover and twelve pages dedicated to each of the months of the year, where the female icon of the Republic critically illustrates some of the themes of the new economic reordering of Cuban society and its possible consequences from a critical perspective. The ideal purpose of this work is its seriality and to be shown in the exhibition as a common calendar that the viewer could leaf through, or already at home to become part of the decorative and utilitarian objects of the everyday life of a common individual. The piece allows anyone who owns a copy to trace their purposes, and make their annotations on it.
