    Artwork Statement

Over the years, I have continued creating as a constant questioning — of who I am and why I do what I do. Some works are born in moments of crisis, others in moments of calm, and there are those that simply emerge to look back at everything that came before — a retrospective. These are works that transcend the formal, from their conception to their creative process.

As an artist, I have fallen into the loop of repetition — one self-portrait after another, one work after the next. At times, it feels as though there is nothing more left within me. I no longer feel my body as mine, nor my home, nor even my country. I look beyond, through The Retrospective, which now demands its place in this stage of my life.

Anyone who stands here, in my place, and looks from the angle through which my eyes observe the world, will understand what I am speaking about.
