    Artwork Statement

“Slime circle” approaches the landscape in a peculiar sculptural way. The work proposes an understanding of sculpture away from the pedestal, as it takes over the wall, thus paying tribute to the very theme of the landscape. Like the mycelium, present in the earth communicating extensive areas of vegetation as an immense subway network, the creative work is interconnected to the environment in which we develop and to our memories. Based on this assumption, I am interested in exploring visualities that somehow refer to those spaces anchored to being and memory.
