Duvier del Dago – Work on Installation of exhibition STANDBY

The central installation is a 3D drawing placing a drone above a giant dragon fly for ultraviolet illumination. The time lapse video shows the 2 final days of work.

In total more than 4’000 meters of vertical carrier threads were suspended between over  2’000 ring screws. The actual spacial drawings were laid out using 400 meters of artificial silk attached to the carrier threads with knots. The installations are radiated with ultraviolet light making the artificial silk radiate in a bluish/violet light.
