The poet is a collector of ephemeral eternities. Poetry is a soul inaugurating a form.

The work of young Cuban artist Giselle Lucía Navarro (Havana, 1995) stands out for the freshness she brings to the artistic medium through the harmonious union of words and textile creation practices. A literary breath emerges from her creations; these are snapshots that give sensitive form to poetic images, ethereal and infinite, threaded through the use of fiber—a material resource par excellence in her creative work.

Artistic and literary expression converge in her works to dust off, in an act of recognition, personal and collective narratives. Through her two-dimensional, installation, and soft sculpture works, she explores the re-signification of the familiar and the domestic, as well as the multiple and infinite manifestations of imaginary universes.
