Group Exhibition – PRISMA 3. Cuban Digital Art & Crypto Art Market

The third edition of the Prisma competition, launched by the ArteMorfosis platform in 2020, marked a crucial moment for Cuban digital art. Set against a global context of transformation driven by blockchain technology and the crypto market, Prisma opened a space for reflection and action on the new modes of creation, circulation, and legitimation of digital art. At a time when NFTs were beginning to consolidate as unique certificates of authenticity, the competition set out to highlight the potential of these formats to empower artists and to overcome the historical limitations of digital reproducibility.
This edition of Prisma stood out particularly for the active participation of several emerging creators who, despite the technological barriers of the Cuban context, succeeded in joining global digital art networks. Thanks to the drive of collaborative communities and the support of committed cultural managers, these young artists experimented with new visual languages, virtual media, and decentralized platforms. The call for entries not only served as a showcase for their innovative proposals, but also as a turning point for the recognition of a new generation beginning to shape the artistic landscape from within the digital sphere.
