Frank Baltodano
Frank Baltonado graduated in Visual Communication from the Instituto Superior de Diseño (ISDI) in Havana in 2010. He complemented his training with photography studies at ICAIC and UNEAC. His work has been showcased at major cultural events and venues such as the San Agustín Artistic Laboratory, the Havana Biennial, the Havana Design Biennial, the Madrid Design Biennial, the Pamplona Architecture Biennial, the Poster Lovers Club, Generation Y Graphics Days, Posters for Peace, and the Bolivia Poster Biennial. He has exhibited in Cuba, Italy, Spain, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Bolivia.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including the Special Prize at the “Jóvenes en el Lente” competition (2014), the Best Small Exhibit Prize at the Sydney Holiday & Travel Show (2014), the Cuban Philatelic Federation’s Postal Design Award (2015), the Poster Heroes 6th Edition “Rights in Love” Award (2016), the Ideaborn Art Contest Prize (2017), and the Silver Award at the A’ Design Award in Italy (2019). His career stands out for the strength of his visual language and international reach.
