In this work, a recurring element in the work of Alexander Hernández Chang is taken up again: alligators. These animals are used as referents that symbolize Cuba, due to the kinship that the geographical disposition of the island has with this animal.
On the other hand, there is a dragon, a creature that plays an important role in Chinese culture.
In the center is a human figure, which may be referring to Chang himself, in the middle of two symbols of cultural syncretism from Cuba and China that identify him.
