Guest of the Mist IV / Huésped de la niebla IV
When we look through art, possibilities become infinite; we enjoy expressive freedom to address various themes and draw closer to the essence that defines us. This is a philosophy born from a subtle pursuit where the subject—the self—is part of a reality that seeks to unravel spaces filled with mystery, exploring human nature and its relationship with the environment. These are constructions suggested by my experiential process, starting from the deconstruction of the landscape as an image, followed by creating scenes laden with elemental codes and unique structures, achieving a refined visuality. These images are then intervened by a symbolic object that introduces an anachronism, adding a purely industrial and humanized element that evokes a sense of human presence. It is a contrast between cultures and nature—a conflict that has been contested since antiquity—reason versus nature, a juxtaposition that reveals the oscillating nature of thought and its processes.
