Ghost / Fantasma
Purchase Inquiry
The work depicts the trajectory of a collective that exhibits standardized behavior and movement patterns in order to adapt to its environment, never pausing to explore a reality beyond the one they know—except for a single individual who stands out with a distinctive pose and color. Titled *Fantasma* (Ghost), the piece portrays an entity from another dimension trapped in a liminal space—an intermediate phase between two environments. Viewed from either side, it represents both the central subject and the secondary figures. The protagonist, rebelling against the established order, becomes a shadow by stepping outside the collective norm, whereas the crowd tends to lose its essence by adhering to a uniform standard for the sake of integration. The work highlights the challenges of failing to fit into a given habitat; it allows for the management of authenticity from the perspective of character evolution, envisioning individual paradigms that are superior to the conventional ones.
