    Artwork Statement

In this series of works, I explore everyday life through characters who, though ordinary, become protagonists in scenes imbued with symbolism and meaning. Reality transforms into a fantastic and imaginative universe, where the mundane takes on an extraordinary quality, inviting the viewer to question their surroundings and their own perception of reality. Through color and visual metaphor, I address themes that define cultural and social identity. Youth, the worker, and the military emerge as key figures in a pictorial dialogue that reflects the tensions, aspirations, and contradictions of our time. I seek to capture the fleeting essence of human experience, endowing each scene with an open-ended narrative that represents the moral and cultural decay of my environment. This series is, at its core, a space for reflection where the symbolic and the tangible converge to construct a universal and timeless visual language.
