"Herrado (Prole)" materializes a profound historical wound: the forced transmutation of the individual into a purely utilitarian object. By embedding a horseshoe directly into the sole of a human foot, the artwork serves as a visceral denunciation of forced domestication and systemic subjugation.

Historically, the process of shoeing has stood as a symbol of technological progress and mankind's dominance over the wild. In this piece, Jota shifts this violent mechanism onto the human body to expose a critical, institutional reality: dehumanization engineered as a standardized form of economic and social production.
