Five senses II (Poliptych) / Cinco sentidos II (Políptico)

I use the genre of the traditional nude, appropriating its representation at a time when it was only accepted as an expression of ideal beauty. I use the image of ancient, classic and modern works of Art History integrated into the figures' underwear, with the intention of transferring the sensuality, beauty and delicacy of these images to the present day and rescuing certain values, sometimes absent in contemporary life. The paintings and drawings in this series discuss the concept of duality and try, in some way, to establish a dialogue between past and present, interior and exterior, reality and imagination.
