It is from a deep connection with nature that the photographs in this series are born. In the contemplation of organic forms, textures and colours, I find an infinite universe of relationships and transmutations. I feel a great fascination for the beauty of plant life, its delicacy and fragility, and at the same time its tremendous power of resistance and strength. The planet is alive, life that we persist in destroying and crushing irresponsibly and selfishly.

The succession of the seasons speaks to us of the cycles of life and its continuous process of transformation, an infinite circle of life and death, beginning and end, constant rebirth, in a delicate and ancient balance. Nothing remains and everything is eternal.

In the awareness that I am part of the interconnected and ancestral whole, I recognise myself in the flower and the bird, in the tree and the cloud, in the fallen leaf and the rain, in the roots and the sky, in the grass and the earth. It is in my body and mind that everything happens and flows.
