Alberto Domínguez
Alberto Domínguez (Matanzas, 1989) began his studies in art at the Roberto Diago Querol Academy of Fine Arts (Matanzas), graduating in 2008 with a speciality in Painting. In 2014 he graduated from the University of the Arts of Cuba (ISA), completing the higher level in the Scenic Design profile. His work has been part of collective projects exhibited in national exhibition spaces such as Fábrica de Arte Cubano, the Center for the Development of Visual Arts (CDAV), the Servando, Galiano and Collage Habana galleries. He has exhibited personally in the Galiano, Pedro Esquerré, Raúl Oliva and Salle Zero (French Alliance of Cuba) galleries. He has participated in the XI, XII, XIII and XIV editions of the Havana Biennial (Havana, Cuba), the 9th Salon of Contemporary Cuban Art (Havana, Cuba), the 5th edition of HB. Exhibition of Contemporary Cuban Art (Havana, Cuba), as well as at the Lyon Biennale (Lyon, France) and collateral exhibitions to the Venice Biennale held at the Zenobio Palace (Venice, Italy). He has been represented by the South Border gallery at the Beirut Art Fair (Beirut, Lebanon). His works have been placed in the city of Matanzas as part of the Ríos Intermitentes project.
