About Artist

Andrey Quintana is a Cuban visual artist. He graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana in 2008, after completing his studies at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro in 2002.

Throughout his career, Quintana has presented several solo exhibitions that highlight his evolving creative vision. Notable shows include Gunshot (2020) at Galería Servando CabreraImplosion (2017) at Galería Carmelo González, and Crypsis (2013) at Galería Carmen Montilla, all in Havana. His first solo exhibition, Stories (2002) at Galería Carmelo González, marked the beginning of a consistent and dynamic exhibition path.

In addition to his solo projects, Quintana has participated in numerous group exhibitions both in Cuba and abroad. Among the most relevant are Stereotomies (2020) at Galería Luz y Oficios in Havana, JUNTOS – HAVANNA 500 (2020) in Berlin, and The Featuring Blockchain Series (2018) in Mexico City.

These exhibitions reflect not only his international projection but also his ongoing commitment to engaging with diverse contemporary art scenes. Today, Andrey Quintana is recognized as one of the Cuban artists whose work contributes to the dialogue between local identity and global artistic currents.
