Kevin Oramas
Kevin Oramas (Havana, 1998) is a Cuban visual artist whose work focuses on image manipulation and traditional drawing. His figurative and dreamlike style explores the human psyche and emotions. From an early age, he showed interest in drawing and photography, but in 2018 he decided to leave his job as a cook to fully dedicate himself to art. Since then, he has studied image semiotics and photographic composition, developing a unique visual language within the Cuban art scene.
Oramas’s work has gained visibility through social media, allowing him to expand his audience and exhibit his pieces in both group and solo exhibitions since 2019. In 2021, he joined the creative team at Fábrica de Arte Cubano to explore NFT-based artwork commercialization, becoming one of the first Cuban artists to adopt this technology for the dissemination and sale of digital art.
His work has been exhibited in prestigious cultural institutions in Cuba, such as the Fototeca de Cuba, the Ludwig Foundation, and Habana Espacios Creativos. With a steadily growing career, Kevin Oramas continues to explore his visual language, aiming to capture the complexity of human emotions in pieces that invite reflection and dialogue.
