Lisandra Ramírez (Havana, 1986) graduated from the San Alejandro Academy of Art in Havana in 2007 and the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in 2012. She expanded her expertise by studying bronze casting techniques in Spain and completing a course at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, USA. With more than a dozen solo exhibitions and over twenty group exhibitions, she has established herself as a prominent figure in contemporary Cuban art. In 2013, she was awarded First Prize in the Post-it competition, further cementing her artistic reputation.

Ramírez’s works are part of significant collections both in Cuba and internationally, reflecting the global recognition of her creative output. Her artistic practice spans a wide array of techniques, materials, and mediums, including digital animation, installation art, bronze and resin sculpture, acrylic, and photographic printing on PVC and lightboxes.

This diversity in her work showcases her innovative approach to contemporary Cuban art, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create compelling and thought-provoking pieces that resonate with audiences worldwide.
