When the pandemic begins in 2020, the first confinement without materials grabs me. I remember that coincidentally the same day I was packing up my studio to take home what little I had to see what would happen (back then I thought it would last 15 days or something like that...) a man passed by selling some 25 cm high rolls of canvas by 10 m long. I bought it all. I didn't know what I was going to do with it, because it was too small for me, but I kept everything. Then I came up with the idea of painting 200 20 x 20 pieces to somehow make sense of that fateful 2020, and consequently put that canvas to good use. I painted these 200 paintings randomly, without a theme, without a story, just not wanting to be locked up looking at the walls doing nothing, to find a way out at least, by pure animal instinct! Today I no longer have the 200, luckily and thank God many have found a home in the walls of others. Although I do not rule out making this exhibition one day retroactively. For it excellently describes the life of an artist in this unpleasant period. Here I leave some. With me there are still almost 100.
