Religion has always had a significant impact on the behavior of society, it can be said that in many cases it has been used as a mechanism of power under the justification of the promise of eternal life after physical death. The idea of a God always represented as a man has contributed to reinforce male superiority and to legitimize patriarchal structures in which men are privileged to the detriment of women. This divine representation has been used to justify the subordination of women, limit their rights and restrict their participation in leadership and decision-making roles. If we consider the possibility that God had always been represented as a woman rather than a man, we could imagine a scenario in which women were valued from the beginning as a leading role in society. A female deity could have challenged patriarchal norms and questioned the power structures that perpetuate gender inequality.
