Woman with yellow gloves / Mujer con guantes amarillos
The natural and public space and its randomness, the impossibility of exercising real control over phenomena and processes of that space and how to model them, is the subject of "Woman with yellow gloves". When you insert objects from the private space into that public or natural space, you try to exercise control over the randomness and unpredictability of the world. This is the exercise of yellow gloves. A way to exercise order in chaos. A proposal of inversion not only of functions and use of the object, which mutates its function through a kind of projection of a certain order of the world that you exercise with them. This gesture of intervening the function of the object and also its functional space, allows me to dialogue and establish other connections with reality and public, social and natural spaces to create spaces where the individual condition of the subject and the woman in particular, manage to exercise positions and take possession of these, modulating the personal identity.
