Tabula rasa is a theory that proposes that each individual is born with an empty mind, without innate qualities, so that one's knowledge and abilities come from his or her experiences and sensory perceptions. The sensation of being left with a blank mind becomes the central operative of this photographic series, forcing the act of meditating on the past and the present.
