"Portrait of Open Eyes" is a series composed of five medium-format pieces created using traditional drawing techniques. It emerged as a cathartic act in response to the phenomenon that disrupted my artistic work for years. Anxiety, fear, and unrest were the psychological remnants after years in which epileptic seizures shaped my daily routine. Each piece reflects crucial moments on the path toward catharsis and resurgence, where art served as a channel for processing guilt, anger, and helplessness, allowing me to embrace vulnerability and exposure in an act of intimate reconciliation and self-discovery.
