Purism / Purismo

For the realization of this work, the canvas was first covered with a multiplicity of colored stains, an exuberant chromatism saturated the support. Then, this chromatic expressiveness was covered again and again and again by white spots, bearers of an impeccable light, slowly disappearing this pictorial diversity, giving place to a uniform film of "light". The first saturation, refusing to accept so much imposed light, in an attempt to reach preponderance and visibility, in a sly way began to emerge, bringing as a consequence an expected result: a space no longer so white and pure, with reminiscences of the past.
