Artwork Statement
The piece is an existential catharsis of the journey my body has taken, from acceptance, forgiveness, and respect for who I am. Without the ability to disconnect, I choose to take responsibility for my path and walk it without imposed steps, refusing to let society misdefine me. Using the Kintsugi technique as a therapeutic tool.
As part of a remediation, the piece becomes a GIF—an online form of visual communication.
