The female body has been culturally regarded as the metaphor of the universe. Fertility, eroticism, beauty, morphology, and sexuality nourish this absolute similitude that has always prevailed throughout human history (and Art). I am not interested in portraying an idyllic, speculative, or hypocritical image of women, nor in presenting them as the typical object of sexual desire, but rather as a focus of admiration detached from all previous cults. I avoid the sublime aspect of that ancient construction to precisely render homage from a new angle, from an unassumed perspective.
