Group Exhibition – PRISMA 6. Corpus

The sixth edition of the Prisma art contest, organized by the ArteMorfosis platform under the title Corpus, took place in 2023 with an open call inviting artists to explore the body as a center of meaning. “The body is the temple,” read the invitation—an idea that inspired a diverse and profound reflection on the symbolic dimensions of the human form through multiple artistic languages and media.
Artists were encouraged to view the body not merely as anatomy, but as metaphor—a living territory where identity, memory, and contemporary sensibility converge. The human figure, an eternal motif in art history, was reinterpreted through innovative perspectives and a dynamic dialogue between the physical and the conceptual.
Aligned with the spirit of our digital age, Prisma: Corpus also celebrated creativity in online presentation, acknowledging the growing role of virtual exhibitions and social media as essential spaces for artistic visibility and validation.
The jury awarded the work “Aguacero” by Yeinier Núñez López as the winner of this edition—an artwork that poetically embodies the theme’s essence: the body as a territory inscribed with emotion, history, and nature.
With Corpus, Prisma reaffirmed its commitment to promoting experimentation, critical reflection, and the intelligent use of digital tools in the dissemination of Cuban contemporary art worldwide.
