
Alfredo Sarabia
Alfredo Sarabia Fajardo, born on January 7, 1986, in Havana, is a distinguished Cuban photographer and visual artist. A graduate with top honors from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in 2006 and the University of the Arts (ISA) in 2012, Sarabia has further honed his craft through specialized workshops led by renowned photographers like José M. Mellado, Mario Rubio, and Ricardo Viera. His work embodies a strong academic foundation and technical expertise, paired with an innovative approach to contemporary photography.
Sarabia’s career boasts numerous solo exhibitions, including CUBA en dos tiempos (2024), a collaborative showcase with his father Alfredo Sarabia in Chile, and ATLAS (2022) at Galería Servando in Havana. His art has been featured on prestigious international platforms such as Michael Horbach Stiftung (Germany) and the Musée du Quai Branly (France). Additionally, he has contributed to acclaimed group exhibitions like La imagen sin límites and This is Cuba, solidifying his status as a key figure in global contemporary Cuban art.
